Background & Philosophy

Environmental Technical Services, Inc.Environmental Technical Services, Inc. (ETS), a state of California Incorporated environmental consulting company was established by a team of professionals with more than one hundred years of combined experience, in 1993. ETS is considered a Small Women-owned Business Enterprise (WBE). Our prime objective is to provide Professional, and Cost-Effective environmental Services in an ever-evolving industry.

The multi-disciplinary professional team of Certified Industrial Hygienists (CIH), Certified Safety Professionals (CSP), Professional Engineers (PE), Industrial Hygienists, Civil Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Registered Geologists (RG), Certified Asbestos Consultants (CAC), and Certified Lead Consultants (CLC), have  furnished ETS with the diversity and depth that is essential to successfully manage and resolve a variety of Environmental situations.

All ETS personnel are trained and State Certified in the practices and procedures of their respective specialties.

 


ETS Policies

ETS has in-place a stringent Quality Assurance program. All job-site activities are documented on specifically developed data sheets. Management, prior to computer data entry, routinely reviews this data.

All sampling is performed in accordance with prevailing regulations. Sampling equipment and media are regularly inspected and a log is maintained for each item.
Although our services are of the highest caliber, we offer all of our clients indemnification in the form of Insurance Policies.The coverage is as follows:

• Errors and Omissions (E&O) Professional Liability Insurance - $2,000,000.00
• Comprehensive Commercial General Liability Insurance - $2,000,000.00
• Worker’s Compensation Insurance - $1,000,000.00
• Automobile Liability Insurance - $2,000,000.00
It is the policy of ETS to ensure workplace safety and to take all possible steps to avoid job-related illnesses & injuries. A comprehensive Illness & Injury Prevention Program (IIPP) as required by 8 CCR Section 3203 has been developed and is implemented on project sites as well as office locations. Additionally, in order to maintain site safety standards, ETS has on site a copy of a Written Hazard Communication, employee information and training Program as required by 8 CCR Section 5194; an Emergency Action Plan as required by * CCR 3220; a Fire Prevention Plan * CCR 3221 and a Written Respiratory Protection plan as required by 29 CFR 1910 and 1926.
